Back to Iraq

Amidst all the events in Iraq now, I feel it is complete irresponsible to write about the beauty of France and neglect the hill Of Iraq.

For those who want to see the picture of France and read my impression about it. They can find it here

Truth Teller,

Did anything in France surprise you? Was there anything you saw or experienced in France that made you see Iraq in a different light, or changed your ideas about Iraq?

I think you should write about France, because it gives hope for what Iraq will be in the future. Remember that France has been through many periods of Hell - the Revolution, the Franco-Prussian War, the two World Wars. In the end you have to look forward.

When I am back from France, my feeling was that all what we have in Iraq now is a transitional, and we will be in a better situation in the future.
But now I realized that I was wrong. Every thing is going downhill and rapidly.

Yes a lot of things surprised me and many things made me look at Iraq in a different look. But what we experienced now didn't happen to any other country in the history. What you hear in the news is a fraction of the truth. The truth is horrible, it is a real hell.

There are no hope for the present Iraqis in the future.
I think the only way out of this is to carry your weapon and fight to death. as it is the ultimate result any way

I suspect that the chaos of Iraq might be more obvious after a trip to another, more peaceful place where the things considered "normal" in today in Iraq (anarchy, explosions, killings, etc) are not normal at all.

I keep searching the news from Iraq for good news. I find little to be encouraged about, but perhaps when all Iraqis agree that the current state of affairs is unacceptable they will act together to change it.

I urge you to act with your mind and if necessary with your feet to stay safe, and avoid the temptation to take up a weapon to try to defend yourself. I believe it is a bad idea more likely to bring danger than security. I believe you and your family are among the smartest people on the planet. You are more likely to find solutions with brainpower than firepower.

The American Declaration of Independence, which I have posted today to refrsh the memories of readers, certainly tells Americans how justified Iraqis are in wanting to throw them out.

Truth teller, I'm sorry to hear about the situation there. All I can do is echo Waldschrat:
"I believe you and your family are among the smartest people on the planet. You are more likely to find solutions with brainpower than firepower."

Bless you.
