I am really glad you got to see the Palace at Versailles and those spectacular gardens. It is my 2nd favorite thing in France after the Eiffel Tower.
Your pictures bring back great memories of visiting there. I remember renting bicycles and riding around the great pools of water.

It looks like the large pond at the back for boating is partially drained in your pictures. Is that true?
I had a fun time with my friends when we rented a row boat to explore it.
